From Earth to Heaven

Dear Dad,

I miss you still just as strongly as when you left. Even though I don’t let anyone see it when I am alone I can’t help but let these tears fall. It’s only been 7 months but it feels like you’ve been gone for years. Are you up in heaven looking down? Every now and then I remember some of the stupid things we would do or how sometimes we would get caught in the rain on our walks home.

I know you always felt like I was missing out because we could never do normal father daughter things. But as long as we were together I never noticed what we couldn’t do and instead made amazing memories. Why did time have to go by so fast? I knew we wouldn’t have forever together but I had hoped we would have had longer.

I still have your old trumpet you know the one you gave me to practice and play in concerts with. I haven’t been able to play it since you left. I can’t seem to bring myself to play it no matter how much I miss the sound of it. Even now I’m listening to classical trumpet music and all I can do is sit here and listen. I think I’ve lost the heart to play any music to be honest I don’t sing with the radio and I haven’t touched a piano in months. You never taught me what to do when the music dies.

Hello Friends,

I’m still alive I promise! So a series of events happened last month I got my replacement computer! But I had gotten strep for two weeks then the day after I finished my meds I ended up getting pneumonia and then after the end of those meds I got a cold. I literally spent the entire month of February in bed horribly sick. My god was it boring as well.

So now that it is near the end of March I can safely start wearing my make up with out potentially spreading sick germs over it. So what does that mean? Well while I was sick I ordered some make up to test and I looked up some fun ideas for Friday’s fun blog. Now that I am not sick anymore it is time for my best friend to do my make up and yes he’s gay.

Now normally the tag would be I would put out make up and brushes and I couldn’t tell him what was what. However we have already tried that but I forgot to take a before picture and only have the after pictures. So this time he has had one month to watch a series of youtube videos and we will be revisiting him doing my make up. My poor face.

Next, happy belated first day of Spring! Now my family as always will be growing a garden and this year I am growing the herbs like sage and basil. But since it is Spring it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming Summer. This year a group of friends and I are getting together and started our own small business. It’s mostly craft fairs and possibly etsy but I am really excited about it.

Well guys sadly I have lots to do so I hope you all have a really great day or night depending on when you read this.

~Violet

It’s Monday!

So since it is Monday a make up review should be what I’m posting about however it is not. But the good news is I have a replacement computer to start putting blogs up with. *Sound of applause* But sadly I am a bit behind for blogs so this Wednesday instead of a weekly update I will be posting a makeup review and Friday will be it’s normal post.

After this weekend of drinking with friends and doing crazy amazing things my lovely blonde hair has been painted a very neon purple and it is absolutely beautiful. Haha I wouldn’t say it is the craziest thing I’ve done especially when I was in high school my hair was every color under the sun.

I’ve been reading at least 2 hours a day and been working on my craft 4 hours a day. I’m getting faster as it and it absolutely looks better. I try to read things that enlighten my mind and I try to learn things that that enrich my living. Aside from my book club books and my reading challenge books I read old literature and etiquette books. In the after noon I learn things like making my own soap/bath fizzies to knitting/crocheting.

Well time to go tutor my younger brother and do some knitting. Have a great day. Byeeeeeee!

Sizzle Sizzle

Ahhh disasters all about. I’m sorry dear readers for not posting but my laptop has kicked the bucket and I have to wait a few weeks for a replacement. In the meantime I am trying to find a place to safely down load my blogs. Wish me luck.

Weekly Wednesday

So today is Wednesday and we are halfway through the work week! I’m super excited to do a first impression friday because that means I get to buy something haha every girl’s dream. Hopefully over this coming weekend I will be doing the Best friend Tag and Gay Best Friend does my make up challenge which will be posted on upcoming fridays.

As everyone knows the powerball is up to 1.5 billion dollars! That is crazy though I do have to admit I did buy one, just one! Haha. It’s a very life changing amount even after taxes.

If I won I would give money monthly to my uncle and aunt so they can finally retire. I would buy my mom and stepdad a new house and offer them money so they too could retire. I’d absolutely have a house built for me. Big enough incase any of my friends needed a place to live.

I would want to spend a year in England and a month in Japan to just relax for once. I would make sure to have college trust funds for my nieces, nephews, and my little brother. I would pay for my own college. Depending on how much is left I would save 3 million to live off  the interest. Then I would make some charity donations. Maybe even get a hospital wing named after my dad.

Life would absolutely be different then comment on what you would do with 1.5 billion if you won I’m curious on what you would do.

Lets Get Lippie Two!

Hiya readers, as you are pretty aware today is monday which makes it a Make Up Review Monday! Today I am giving a review on a lip kit that is the sister of the other Lippie blog post. So continue reading below to see what I have to say about this one. I hope you all have a lovely monday! :3

2L

Brand Name: LAQA & Co.
Brand Series: Lil’ Lip Duo
Shade: Bossy Boots, Ring of Fire
Opaque or Translucent: Opaque
Cost: $17.00
I bought it from: BirchBox.com
Review: I really like how moisturizing they are. It’s almost like having a solid lip gloss. You don’t get that sticky feeling with gloss but you get a smooth glossy feeling after you put them on. Unlike the other pack of the Lil’ Lip Duo I don’t feel like the color has the same staying power. But over I really liked them.

2Ll

The top is Bossy Boots and the bottom swatch is Ring of Fire
Rate: I give this a 5.5 out of 10. Although I really liked it I didn’t like that it was easy to smear and I’d have to reapply throughout the day. But it was very pigmented.

2Ll1

I have on the Bossy Boots on me and it reminds me of a burnt red with just a hint of purple. This would be a shade I would wear in the fall. Please excuse my scars and face demons I didn’t want to put on foundation because I’m hoping to quell how angry my skin has gotten lately. Anyone else have this problem?

2Ll2.5

This is the shade Ring of Fire. I had such high hopes for this one because I really love a nice red lip. Now not saying this shade is terrible but it to me it’s more of a reddish pink than a true red. It’s still a very nice color.

You’ll be able to read my review of it and if you would like to read a different book of that genre you can leave a comment below the post of the book you read and a short review. We could become some weird awesome internet book club. Yay us!

Next one I am doing this year’s Popsugar (link below) 2016 Reading Challenge. It is 40 different book categories to be read throughout the 2016 year. I will post every three months 10 Categories to read in that 3 months and what books I’ll be reading.

I really like the thought of making this interactive for who ever reads my blog so like the other one I would like to know what books you would read for each category.

Ok I’m getting off now to go run some errands and I’ll see you in Saturday’s post. Byeeeeee.

Taking in the Breeze

I’ve been having the time of my life here visiting a really good friend of mine. We’ve been to some really amazing places and I haven’t felt stressed or depressed since I’ve been here and it feels so nice. We went to my home town for halloween I was beautifully dressed as Harley Quinn and my mallet was almost as tall as me!

These last two weeks that I’ll be here is mostly relaxing before I go back home. I have so much to pack before I go home but instead I’m writing this blog post. I’m hoping to get a replacement phone or camera next month so I can go back to taking pictures and so I can continue reviewing products on here!

I feel like when I get home I’ll write a better post about my time here because there is just so much to talk about! So for now I’m going end this post here and go do productive stuff like packing or something important like laundry. Byeeee
